1、項目名稱：社會工作碩士Master of Social Work Program
作為USNEWS School of Social Work排名第十位的社工學院中的研究生項目，社會工作碩士不僅致力于培養學生的學習能力，還更加注重學生的研究以及實踐能力。學生每周會被安排2-3天的時間在學校，非營利機構或醫院進行研究及實習。
2、社會工作碩士的專業方向：
學生需要首先在以下兩個方向中選擇一個作為他們的專業方向：
Clinical：該方向下學生將會更加側重于臨床方面的學習，包括治療干預，評估和診斷的分類等。
Macro：該方向下學生將會更加側重于宏觀的社會工作，包括影響社區，組織和政治層面的系統變化等。
未來兩大專業的實踐方向：
學生不管是選擇了Clinical或Macro方向的學習，都需要在以下六個實踐領域中選擇一個來發展專業知識：Children, Youth, & Families, Global Practice, Health, Latinx Communities, Mental Health, Older Adults & Families.

a) Resume
b) Personal Statement：No longer than five double-spaced pages, addressing
1)How do you plan on pursuing social work practice that is anti-oppressive to attain social justice?
2)What led to your choice of social work; personal growth stemming from your family, community, and educational background; instances of you giving and receiving help; other careers you considered; and relevance of current and/or past work experience to your choice of a major field.
3)What you expect to gain from your professional education; reasons you chose Boston College; and your goals or plans in your service choice of Clinical or Macro specialized practice.
4)How you plan to address work and other responsibilities during your course of study; how you will finance your education; and how you will do these things in addition to course and fieldwork.
c) Letter of recommendation x 3：References should know you well enough to evaluate your potential in the field of social work. If you've worked in a social service agency, one reference should be your most recent employer or supervisor. If you are currently or were recently a student, one reference should be a faculty advisor or instructor. General references on file in college placement offices are usually not adequate for the purposes of this application.
d) Transcripts：International transcripts under review with WES (World Education Services) must be received directly from WES to be considered official.
e) GRE：Not mention
f) Evidence of English Proficiency：Students who speak a native language other than English must provide evidence of proficiency: A video essay and TOEFL minimum score: 100 or IELTS minimum score: 7.5, The BCSSW School Code is 5939 and BCSSW Department Code is 95
